Today was a meeting of the Writer’s Club and I was knee deep in editing, so I didn’t have time to do much else. Still, I wanted to stop by and let y’all know some more about what’s up with me because I’m really excited. I’m talking The Life and Times of No One in Particular.
As y’all know by now, I wrote this book during NaNoWriMo 2011. After taking Steven King’s recommended six-week break (On Writing is an amazing book that has excellent tips), I began working on edits in January. Luckily, I had my wonderful husband CP Bialois to read through it first. Now, I have plugged his edits and mine into the document and have sent the book off to beta readers. This is a really nerve-wracking yet exciting process and I want to make sure to document it all, so I will be blogging about the process of editing and releasing it. I’ll also be sharing a couple excerpts and other things as the book gets closer to release. As of now, I am on target to get it out there in May. I hope you’ll join me on this journey while I continue to bring news, reviews and interviews 🙂 See ya tomorrow when I will be blogging about my favorite 80s crushes as part of the “I’ll Tumble 4 Ya” Blogfest. To get you into the 80s spirit, here is one of my favorite songs from that time period:
