Another sad story to come out recently. It seems like we’re losing so many wonderful writers and artists lately 😦 I first read “451” back in High School and have loved it ever since. May he RIP… and may we never become as mindless and creepy as the people he depicted- no matter how many bad reality shows come out.
“Go to the edge of the cliff and jump off. Build your wings on the way down.”
“Don’t think. Thinking is the enemy of creativity. It’s self-conscious, and anything self-conscious is lousy. You can’t try to do things. You simply must do things.”
“I know you’ve heard it a thousand times before. But it’s true – hard work pays off. If you want to be good, you have to practice, practice, practice. If you don’t love something, then don’t do it.”
“You must live life at the top of your voice! At the top of your lungs shout and listen to the echoes.”
“I don’t need an alarm clock. My ideas wake me.”
“Don’t talk about it; write.”
