Dianna Corcoran Announces Next Single, “Thank You For Cheating On Me”

DC single cover(Nashville, Tenn. – April 5, 2016) – Australian-born country sweetheart Dianna Corcoran has released her latest single, “Thank You For Cheating On Me,” to country radio. Written by Corcoran, Rebecca Lynn Howard and Rachel Thibodeau, “Thank You For Cheating On Me” is the second single off her U.S. debut, In America, available for download on iTunes, Amazon and other major digital retailers.

With clever lyrics and upbeat melodies, “Thank You For Cheating On Me” shines positive light on the closure of a relationship. Regarding the inspiration behind the single, Corcoran says, “‘Thank You For Cheating On Me’ is my own true story. Instead of getting angry with the ex who cheated, I left and wrote this song. It’s a genuine thank you for being set free. It’s quirky and real with a touch of harmless revenge.”

In America, self-produced by Corcoran and recorded at Nashville’s Ocean Way, Warner and Fool on the Hill Studios, was released on Jan. 29, 2016. The album shares songwriting credit with Kristian Bush and Jeff Cohen. Following the album’s release, Corcoran was named one of “10 New Country Artists to Watch in 2016” by country music news outlet, The Boot, alongside artists such as Kane Brown and Ashley Campbell.

The first single, “God Did Good,” was released in August and created much buzz for the full-length studio album. The single was supported by an official music video, which took the No. 1 spot on Taste of Country’s Top 10 video countdown for two consecutive weeks, and can be viewed below:

The vivacious Aussie is no stranger to success in the country genre. With numerous awards to her name, including two Australian Country Music Association Golden Guitar Awards, Corcoran has proven her talents in Australia and across the globe.

Working extensively in the songwriting community throughout Australia, England, Germany, and Sweden, it’s a natural progression that Corcoran relocated across the pond.
